YOUR

QUESTIONS

Do you charge for travel?

Where are we going? I’ll pack my bags. I absolutely do travel for weddings whether it is near or far. There may be a fee depending on where your location is. These details will all be covered in your booking discovery call.

Can you film both of us getting ready?

Absolutely! If you are in the same venue or close by. These are actually my favourite moments to film because they provide a good sense of the build up to the ceremony. We can arrange timings in our pre-wedding meetings so I can capture you both.

Why are films 8-12 or 15-25 minutes long?

The length of you films depends on the film package you choose, however there is always the choice to change or add on to your package later.

Can you film the signing of the wedding papers?

Are you trying to get me in trouble? It is illegal to film the signing of the papers as it is an extremely important document.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHERE TO BE AND WHEN?

We will work timings out in the pre-wedding meetings. This will allow me to know where to be and when and capture those key moments. Please bear in mind if timings are wrong or if timings don’t run to plan, I may miss some action. There is an option to hire an assistant videographer for a fee to cover more footage of your day.

What if our guests are worried about being filmed?

I’m a filming ninja! Many of the guests won’t even know I’m filming due to my minimalistic approach. Sometimes guests don’t even realise you had a videographer.

Can we choose the music?

I can’t use any commercial music as it’s illegal to use without a copyright license, which can cost thousands of pounds.

I do understand that music is a big part of your film as it can really set the overall tone. You have entrusted me to tell your story, so please be confident that I know what music will emphasise the emotion and joy of your day. I use music from artists that I can license and use legally. Don’t worry – the cost of this is included in your package.

Can you stay late?

How late are we talking? If there is an important moment happening late on please just let me know before the wedding day and we can agree if it is possible and I can have a red bull handy!

Are you insured?

Absolutely I have £2,000,000 public liability.

When will our wedding film be ready?

Delivery times can vary, especially during the busy months. I give every wedding a lot of attention and only take on a limited number each year so I can give you the best of me. I do try to ensure the delivery of your films within 25 weeks.

How do we get our films?

Online delivery is the best delivery form. Technology is moving so fast and a lot of devices now come without a disc player or USB port. Online delivery means you can download and stream your films multiple times. This way you won’t find yourself unable to watch them in a few years.
